| Antique 55 | 1960 Maxim
The Maxim Engine is home after many years. This piece was orginally speced out for MCFC back in 1959. The orginal order was placed on December 7, 1959. The unit was delivered in spring of 1960. The Maxim was used from 1960 to the early 1980's when it was sold to a fire department down south. In the summer of 2008, the Maxim was found for sale and MCFC worked out a deal to get the Maxim back home. Fire Chief Palmer went to Alabama and brought it back to MCFC.
